First night in Venice Beach

Well folks, it turns out that not only can the DV crew put on awesome shows, we can also build tents :)

We spent our first day in Venice finding a mechanic to check out the Sable's "check engine soon" light... we'll let you know how that goes... and rehearsing at the Electric Lodge, which is a cute theater that runs on only solar power!

After tech rehearsal, we got lost in the curves of Malibu but finally arrived at the Malibu Creek State Park only to find that we had no logs for fire and no campstove... it was a wonderful night nonetheless with good wine, company and crossword puzzles.

Today's another day in the theater with more crew arriving!
