From the road: Mohave Desert

Greetings from Giraffe + Eagle, direct from Car #1 en route to Tucson, AZ.

As part of our mission to experience new people, art and lands, we took a brief (it's hot - really hot) excursion to Joshua Tree National Park today. It was so new to me and I found that I am loving the desert... we'll see if I still feel that way after a week in 107 degree weather :)

Below are a few photos from this new, fascinating land, as well as two photos taken from the passenger seat (as I'm blogging) of Dome Rock (arizona) + the Eagle driving.... we're now passing through more incredible areas that are looking more like Mars than Earth...

Well, our shows in Venice Beach were well-attended and we very much enjoyed seeing old friends and collaborators like Dorsey Dunn and Brett Konner, as well as meeting new and future collaborators like Gina Clark.
