San Francisco based intermedia group DOUBLE VISION is landing in Albuquerque to perform at the
WILD DANCING WEST contemporary dance festival. The group will be presenting dance, video, noise,
speed, energy, and seismic activity for stage. Works range from reconstructions of the Futurist sintesi
Macchina del 3000 (The Love of Two Locomotives for the Station Master) and Macchina Tipograpfica to
original works Three Canons and Mise en Scenes and Video Action Painting. Throughout the evening s
performance, DOUBLE VISION connects art from the dawn of the automobile to the Internet Age while
posing the question...what s next?
 
DOUBLE VISION, led by Sean Clute and Pauline Jennings, is a group of dancers, musicians, video-artists, and performers. By experimenting with different methods of collaboration through the adaptation of social systems, transvergence of scientific models, and mapping of algorithmic structures, DOUBLE VISION unifies multifaceted art forms and ideas to cultivate innovative performances and provoke communication.
